Les joueurs NBA internationaux au plus haut niveau

Un record de 83 joueurs internationaux originaires de 37 pays et territoires a été atteint cette saison dans les effectifs NBA . Vingt-huit des trente équipes ont au moins un joueur international.

Les Phoenix Suns sont l'équipe avec le plus de joueurs internationaux dans ses rangs avec sept. Thabo Sefolosha des Chicago Bulls est le premier Suisse à évoluer au sein de la NBA.

A la fin de la saison 2005-06, il y avait 82 joueurs internationaux de 38 pays et territoires dans les effectifs NBA. En comparaison, il y avait 32 joueurs internationaux de 18 pays et territoires en 1996-97.
