Have you been to any of the other Finals games this year?
Modine: "Not of this series, but I've been to my share of New York Knickerbocker playoffs. It's a whole different game to be able to go and watch a playoff game."
So what's your prediction for the series?
Modine: "Well, because I'm an Eastern Conference [guy], I've got to say Detroit, but I believe that with the momentum that Detroit has right now, I think they're pretty unstoppable."
If you could switch places with one of the athletes in this series, who would you pick? Anyone you've watched dunk or do something and you've just said, I wish I could do that once and see what it feels like?
Modine: "I wish I had some of Ginobili's skills. He's just one of the most wonderful all-around players I've ever seen. But, I don't know…. Tony Parker is so fast, but you've got to love Ben Wallace... He's so quiet, so fierce, such a warrior. I think that he's got some wonderful qualities that I think bodes well for any actor -- that confidence that he has."
Did you have a favorite team growing up?
Modine: "Well, I grew up in Utah and we didn't have a team. We had the Utah Stars when it was an ABA team. And when I moved to San Diego, they didn't have a team either, so I kind of grew up without basketball. Since I've lived in New York since I was 18 years old, I've been a New York Knicks fan."
And what's your favorite NBA Playoff moment?
Modine: "That would be Larry Johnson's four-point play."*
* Editor's Note: Knicks forward Larry Johnson hit a three-point field goal and got the foul as New York faced Indiana in the 1999 Eastern Conference Finals. The Knicks would defeat the Pacers but fall to the San Antonio Spurs in The Finals.
