X-Factor: Controlled Aggression
Through the first three games of The Finals, the Pistons set the tone using their swarming defense. On Sunday, Detroit once again imposed its will. But instead of turning heads with in-your-face "D," the Pistons used aggressive drives to the hoop to gain the advantage on the Lakers. Detroit outscored Los Angeles by 17 points from the foul line en route to an 88-80 win in Game 4. The Pistons got to the charity stripe 41 times, sinking 28. The Lakers, on the other hand, made just half of their 22 attempts.
