Kobe Bryant's 3-pointer over Richard Hamilton with 2.4 seconds to play sends Lakers-Pistons Game 2 to overtime. Los Angeles goes on to win, knotting the series at a game apiece.
THURSDAY, MAY 13
Lakers 74, Spurs 73
With only 0.4 seconds on the clock, Derek Fisher takes an inbounds pass from Gary Payton and swishes a fallaway jumper over Manu Ginobili to give the Lakers a Game 5 win at San Antonio. L.A. went on to win the conference-semifinal series 4-2.
SATURDAY, APRIL 17
Lakers 72, Rockets 71
Shaquille O'Neal cleans up a Kobe Bryant airball with a putback jam to put L.A. up by one with 17 seconds to play in Game 1 against Houston. The Lakers won the first-round series in five games.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14

In the final game of the regular season, Kobe Bryant hit not one but two miracle shots -- the first a 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds left to send the game to overtime; the second, another long trey to give the Lakers the one-point win, securing the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference for the playoffs.
