FISHER FOR 3
Derek Fisher helped knock out the Sixers with six 3's in Game 5.

They're simply the best. The Lakers rolled through the playoffs and needed just five games in the NBA Finals to be crowned champs for the second straight year. Finals MVP Shaquille O'Neal pounded his way for 29 points and 13 rebounds on Friday and Derek Fisher drilled six three-pointers as L.A. won 108-96 in Philadelphia, giving the Lakers the best postseason (15-1) of all-time.

Shaq is internationally known, and he's known to rock the microphone. He tipped off the Lakers' championship parade by saying, "We're going to three-peat. Can you dig it?" Once the party reached the arena, Shaq treated the crowd to a little Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock.

Mission accomplished for Lakers
Despite the disappointment of falling short in the NBA Finals, the Sixers are confident that the experience gained will serve them well in their quest for a title next year.
