NBA players are some of the best conditioned athletes in the world and they work year-round to maintain their physique. Throughout the 2001-02 season, will take an inside look at workouts from the league's 29 teams, including fitness and nutrition tips for the weekend warrior in all of us. Feel the burn!

The Dallas Mavericks' strength and conditioning program consists of two mandatory lifts per week. Most of the players are able to work out three to four times a week depending on the team's game schedule.

The following are two typical workouts that Mike and Juwan might perform during the season.
