Nobody speaks the truth like kids do. And in the new NBA on TNT ad campaign, they dish it out at the expense of NBA players.

In TNT's new "Let the Truth Be Told" promo spots -- directed by Spike Lee -- some of the league's biggest stars, and even TNT's own announcers, get taken down a notch or two by the students of the fictional School of Truth. NBA.com went behind the scenes for the filming of the spots. Here's a quick recap of what went down.

Shaq gets a tough Spanish lesson at the hands of School of Truth students, much to Spike's enjoyment.

At the School of Truth, LeBron gets a C- for not making the playoffs last season, while 'Melo gets selected last in a pickup game because he wasn't named Rookie of the Year. Evidently, the two standout sophomores get revenge on their classmates.

Marv, Kenny, Charles and Steve encounter miniaturized versions of themselves.

School of Truth students Ben Wallace, Ron Artest, Paul Pierce, Amare Stoudemire, Mike Bibby and Ray Allen pose for a class photo with the teacher, Spike Lee. Not in attendance: Steve Francis, Rip Hamilton, Kenyon Martin, Lamar Odom and Jason Terry.
