Playing "NBA One-on-One":
The goal in NBA One-on-One is to be the first player to score 21 points
At the “Main Menu”, highlight “Play” and press the “Select” key to start a game
On the “Choose Skill Level” screen, select a skill level and press the “Select” key
After the “How to Play” and “Controls” screens display, the game will begin. Press the “Select” key while the “How to Play” and “Controls” screens are displayed to move past them.
On Offense, move your player around by using the directional pad or the handset keypad.
Press the “Select” or “5” key and HOLD to start the shot meter. HOLD the “Select” or “5” key until the ball on the meter is in the basket at the top of the meter. When the ball is in the basket at the top of the meter, RELEASE the key to take the shot.
You take a three-pointer by shooting from behind the three-point line. You dunk by cleanly beating the defender and taking a shot very close to the basket.
On Defense, position your player between the basket and your opponent. Press the “Select” or “5” key to jump and block the opponent’s shot, and press the same key to get a rebound off a missed shot.
