Elton Brand, Darius Miles and Lamar Odom may get most of the hype, but there's another Clippers youngster that the team is raving about. Point guard Keyon Dooling is being groomed to help steer the Clippers ship for years to come. At the moment, however, the second-year guard from Missouri is nursing a sprained ankle, so nba.com and Reebok caught up with him for some All-Access Mind Games.

What's the best thing about living in Los Angeles?

Dooling: The shopping. The malls and everything. My favorite is the Fox Hills Mall. They've got a lot of great hip-hop shops.

What's the worst thing about living in Los Angeles?

Dooling: The traffic. It tends to take a little bit longer than the average city but that's something that you have to deal with.

What song gets you totally hyped?

Dooling: Right now … um … lemme see … I'm feeling jiggy right now … Jay-Z. I put "All I Need" in – No. 11 off the Blueprint. That's my song right now.

What movie is in your DVD player right now?

Dooling: Right now, we just watched Swordfish. It was cool.

Do you have a portable DVD player?

Dooling: No, actually I don't. I have DVDs in my truck though.

So what do you take with you for entertainment on road trips?

Dooling: Playstation2. I like College football, Madden and basketball. NBA Live.

Do you think NBA Live has a good portrayal of you?

Dooling: It's cool. They should have had me with a headband on because I play in a headband, but other than that, it's cool.

What do you do in the cities, when you're on road trips, to pass the time?

Dooling: You know, usually we hit the mall. Well, we hit the mall occasionally and we definitely go out to eat every time on the road trips – me, Quentin, Darius and some of the other guys on the team.

Do you have a favorite restaurant?

Dooling: Ruth's Chris Steak House. That's my spot.

What's the best room service food to order?

Dooling: I'm a buffalo wing man so if the place has some wings, I always try them as soon as I get there to see how they are so I know what I'm going to eat by the time game time comes around. Not extra hot, but not too mild either. Somewhere in the middle.

The Clippers have Keyon Dooling bobblehead night on Dec. 4. What do you think of your bobblehead?

Dooling: It's cool. It's something fun, something for the fans. It brings some attention, things of that sort. It's going to be cool to send a few of them back home so they can see the little Keyon on the bobblehead doll. So that's pretty cool.

Dooling: Yeah, they've got it on there.

Do you think it looks like you?

Dooling: Well you know, I think I'm a little bit more handsome than the bobblehead. But it's all good.

What are the biggest changes you've been noticing between this year and your rookie year?

Dooling: Well, nothing really. Things are pretty much still the same. I'm still trying to find my way. The big difference is that I got injured this year and I didn't last year. I definitely feel older and more mature. I feel like I'm learning a lot more so I feel more comfortable.

Who on the team do you call when you're bored and want to do something crazy?

Dooling: Man, I could call everybody because we're always down for whatever. We hang out. Like I said earlier, Playstation is like, the thing we do. We go at it. We have some intense battles and I usually come out on the winning end of the stick over Quentin.

Who do you call for support?

Dooling: Q-Rich. That's my guy.

Who's the sort of "den mother" (but in a very manly way) on the team?

Dooling: There's definitely guys like Sean Rooks. We have older leadership. He's been in the league a while so he knows things. He can tell when I'm up and down and things like that so he always tries to keep me positive.

How can you tell the Clippers' image has changed from their days as the league's whipping boys?

Dooling: I wasn't here when we were so-called the "whipping boys." But you can tell from what other people are saying and how other people are looking at us. We sell out games. We have a lot fans. We get noticed in town – even with the Lakers here. So it's cool.

What on-court move do you have that you have the utmost confidence in?

Dooling: It's a move Steve Smith invented a few years ago. It's like a fake spin. I've kind of got that one down a little bit.

What's your favorite part of your daily workout routine?

Dooling: I like to stay after practice when everybody's gone and work on my game with a coach and just put the extra time in. I know a lot of people are not doing that so I feel like if I do the extra work, that will get me over the hump when my turn comes.

What's your best memory from college?

Dooling: All the times we used to stomp on KU, the Kansas-Missouri rivalry. We used to stomp up on them.

Do you miss college at all?

Dooling: Definitely. I definitely miss college. Those were some of the best years of my life. I have a lot of friends there – my best friend still plays for Missouri and it's hard seeing him on TV when I'm not there. But life goes on and that's a part of it.

Did you get to do anything fun during the offseason?

Dooling: I got married! In Florida. So that was cool and then we went on our honeymoon to Atlantis.

How often do you talk to your family?

Dooling: I talk to my family every day. I'm married with a daughter so I talk to my wife and child, obviously, every minute I can. I try to stay in contact with everybody, you know, let them know.

What sort of holiday traditions do you have with your family?

Dooling: Well, since my daughter is not even one yet, Thanksgiving was our first big holiday. I come from a family background where we do things all together on holidays. So being out here was kind of different, but we enjoyed our Thanksgiving. It was beautiful.

What is your favorite place in the house? Where can your wife always find you?

Dooling: In the living room, playing Playstation, watching NBA.comTV.

What's your birthday meal? Your favorite food?

Dooling: Some good old fashioned soul food. Like anything my mom cooks or my wife cooks.

What makes you happy?

Dooling: Just living life, you know. My family makes me happy. Playing ball makes me happy. Just enjoying life makes me happy.

What do you want NBA fans to know about Keyon Dooling that's not apparent just by watching you play?

Dooling: I want them to know that I'm a good ballplayer and I'm going to show them when I get the opportunity.
