| GM: Brian Hanson | PFC Team: Charlotte Bobcats | Record (W-L-T): 14-18-0 |
Franchise Player: Gerald Wallace
Draft:
Adds/Drops/Cost:
Waiver Money Remaining: $78
Trades:
Defense: This has been a top-10 performing team in this league. If you turn the stats to a roto-style scoring system, it's top-10 out of 30. Apparently I've been catching other teams on the wrong week, or just flat out the wrong teams (like Portland, who's 26-5-1 and who's garage needs to be searched for a Delorean and a flux capacitor).
My players are performing well now, I won the most recent week 7-1, I made one of the steals of the draft so far with Leandro Barbosa, and a great waiver pickup in David Lee. I'm actually pretty excited at how my team could look in the future if it can stay healthy.

| GM: Mark Gundersen | PFC Team: Chicago Bulls | Record (W-L-T): 12-19-1 |
Franchise Player: Kirk Hinrich
Draft:
Adds/Drops/Cost:
Waiver Money Remaining: $100
Trades:
Defense: I was in one of the toughest spots in the draft with the Chicago Bulls. Selecting Kirk Hinrich as my franchise player gave me the 16th overall pick of the draft where I took Brad Miller who has been injured. I believe I should be given the chance to continue competing because of what I bring to the table in this league. I'm a gambler when it comes to trading to try my best to keep my team strong and competitive, and I also bring humor every now and then to the message board. I've made several attempts to plug this league on Rick Kamla's show on NBA TV as well. I believe if given the chance, I will earn a playoff spot and have a shot at the title.

| GM: Ben Falk | PFC Team: Golden State Warriors | Record (W-L-T): 15-16-1 |
Franchise Player: Jason Richardson
Draft:
Adds/Drops/Cost:
Waiver Money Remaining: $85
Trades:
Defense: If you're thinking of voting out the GM of the Golden State Warriors I'm not really sure what you're thinking. GSW is tied atop the Pacific Division. It's a bad division (we're a game under .500) but frankly, that's as much as I expected at this point. Bogut and JRich are still getting back in proper form since their injuries, and Childress has missed some time. But really, the only reason the Warriors are not running away with the division is because of the NBA schedule.
The first week in PFC it was GSW vs. NJN. GSW played 19 games, NJN played 17, and the result was a 3-4-1 loss because JRich and Bogut were not nearly at full strength. The second week it was GSW vs. PHI - again, a fairly even 21 to 19 game margin and GSW knocked out the Sixers 6-2. In the third week, though, we faced a 15-21 games played margin, which is incredibly hard to overcome, and fell 2-6. Lastly, this past week we faced a 17-23 games played deficit and as I write we're locked in a 4-4 struggle.
So overall, if you're scoring at home, we've had 8 less GP than our opponents and still are right about .500. When that schedule turns around and GSW gets their deserved advantage back, look for some major blowouts.

| GM: James Crouch | PFC Team: L.A. Clippers | Record (W-L-T): 9-23-0 |
Franchise Player: Tim Thomas
Draft:
Adds/Drops/Cost:
Waiver Money Remaining: $84
Trades:
Defense: Here is my defense for not getting voted out...
1) I take full responsibility for drafting Chris Kaman, but I don't think his horrible start is indicative of what he'll do for the rest of the season. He easily has the talent to average a double-double with good percentages.
2) Likewise with Josh Howard, it's hard to overcome injuries in a league this deep. When two of your top 4 players are out or starting slow, it can be nearly impossible to overcome with so little help available on the waiver wire.
Once Kaman returns from his ankle sprain, I expect my team's performance to improve significantly now that Josh Howard is back.

| GM: Justin Esposito | PFC Team: Milwaukee Bucks | Record (W-L-T): 13-18-1 |
Franchise Player: Mo Williams
Draft:
Adds/Drops/Cost:
Waiver Money Remaining: $92
Trades:
Defense:
Hello NBA.com world -
I ask that you keep me as head of the Milwaukee Bucks franchise. At the time of this being written I am not sure I'll even be under .500 (but there is a good chance I will). I drafted a strong team lead by a good franchise player/choice in Mo Williams. Steve Nash, Caron Butler, and Mo have formed a strong core that guarantee me a few categories every week. I like the Bucks have been bitten by the injury bug, but we both will rebound. I have had some bad luck with big man injuries. Kwame Brown then Joel Przybilla and now Channing Frye have all been hit by the injury bug. Trade talks are active, and Desmond Mason has given me good production from the low rounds. Keep me around, and I promise better months to come.

| GM: Matt Wurst | PFC Team: New York Knicks | Record (W-L-T): 6-25-1 |
Franchise Player: Stephon Marbury
Draft:
Adds/Drops/Cost:
Waiver Money Remaining: $68
Trades:
Defense: What you see above tells the story. You just have to laugh, really. Marbury having the worst season of his career. West is hurt. Hughes is hurt. Stojakovic is hurt. Cassell is now hurt. You just can't absorb these types of losses in this league. The Knicks take full responsibility for the roster assembled. It's up to you to decide whether this is a good roster suffering from bad luck and worthy of another month to prove itself or simply a bad roster from day one.

| GM: Joel Thaw | PFC Team: Orlando Magic | Record (W-L-T): 13-18-1 |
Franchise Player: Darko Milicic
Draft:
Adds/Drops/Cost:
Waiver Money Remaining: $100
Trades:
Defense: Here's my defense. The 1st week the sun & the moon did not align right. I should have started Jack instead of Magliore, Minnesota received good production from Sefalosha because Chicago was involved in 2 blowouts & my "A" player, Carter, only played in 2 games. As a result I lost 6-1-1. Week 2 I was pummeled by the juggernaut known as Portland, the best team in the league, by a score of 8-0. I t did not look good for me at that point. However, the Orlando Magic made a major comeback winning week 3 over Phoenix by a score of 6-2, & then winning week 4 over the LA Clippers by an identical score of 6-2. If you subtract week 2 against Portland then my record is actually over the 500 mark. Hopefully I won't be punished for having a tough schedule the 1st 2 weeks. I am enjoying this experience too much to want to leave now. I am also one of the only managers to actually live in the city of the team that they manage & probably the only manager to be a season ticket holder of the team that they manage.

| GM: Mark Pion | PFC Team: Philadelphia 76ers | Record (W-L-T): 10-20-2 |
Franchise Player: Allen Iverson
Draft:
Adds/Drops/Cost:
Waiver Money Remaining: $11
Trades:
Defense: Hi guys and voters !! In the event that I end up under .500,here's my defense:I had a very tough schedule, facing two of the top teams in the PFC in San Antonio and Dallas.I'm currently 9th in the conference and have a better record than a heck of a lot of teams. My schedule gets somewhat easier coming up and will be a true measure of where I stand.I also have an improving young team and a better shooting guard than what I started out with.Allen Iverson and Dwight Howard are as good a 1-2 punch as any team's and the supporting cast is young, improving and strong with Hakim Warrick,Adam Morrison,Nick Collison,J.J. Redick,Jalen Rose and David Wesley. Finally,I fill up every category well on a weekly basis. If i'm voted out,I had one of the greatest fantasy experiences of my life and hope I represented Philadelphia and Canada with brains, passion and class. As the Matchbox Twenty song goes "...but if the bright lights don't receive you,you should turn yourself around and come on home..." Thanks !!

| GM: Eric Carmichael | PFC Team: Phoenix Suns | Record (W-L-T): 7-25-0 |
Franchise Player: Boris Diaw
Draft:
Adds/Drops/Cost:
Waiver Money Remaining: $100
Trades:
Defense: My plea is this, my guys have sucked so far, but Boris seems to be back baby. And I just took a gamble on Kobe. If Roy comes back healthy it's a good deal for LA, if not, it's a great deal for me. I can't wait for Roy any longer or I might not be here. Keep me around another month and see if my big deal pays off. At least I tried to improve my situation.

| GM: Ben Swets | PFC Team: Sacramento Kings | Record (W-L-T): 13-18-1 |
Franchise Player: Mike Bibby
Draft:
Adds/Drops/Cost:
Waiver Money Remaining: $84
Trades:
Defense: If the last month has reniforced any of my self-knowledge, it is that I lack the ability to predict the future. Since Day One of The Season, my squad has been hampered by my lunkheaded inability to foresee the cruel ravages of injury (Mike Bibby's finger/wrist injury, Radmanovic's hand injury, Robert Swift's season-ending knee surgery); the unpredictable excellence of players not drafted (Kevin Martin--twice); and the general suckiness of Speedy Claxton. If you feel that my lack of a Bronson Pinchot-like "Second Sight" merits my removal from this league, then by all means, be a curmudgeonly John Laroquette and vote me out.

| GM: Donald Lew | PFC Team: Seattle SuperSonics | Record (W-L-T): 12-20-0 |
Franchise Player: Ray Allen
Draft:
Adds/Drops/Cost:
Waiver Money Remaining: $20
Trades:
Defense: Although the Sonics have struggled early on in the season, I have done everything possible to improve my team and am not afraid to make the big trade. I am leading the league in # of trades/FA pickups made this season, including the pickup of talented upandcomer Dorrel Wright and a pair of blockbuster buy-low trades giving me Ilgauskas, Brad Miller, and Shareef for Brevin and Maggette. With Ilgauskas returning to form, Brad Miller returning from injury, Wright/Gay both likely to improve as the season progresses, .... I am an extremely active owner and am confident that I can turn the Sonics into a contender if allowed to remain in the league.
