Greetings, NBA fantasy freak.

First off, thank you for using NBA.com as your fantasy basketball resource during the 2005-06 season. This was the first season in which we had a dedicated Fantasy Resource Center, and we enjoyed bringing you articles, stats, and games on a daily basis.

This is an exciting time for NBA.com. As we plan for the future, we look forward to unveiling games and features that are available no place else on the internet. Even more, we will bring you the ultimate fantasy hub without charging you a single dime.

Let's take a look at what is in store for you for the 2006-07 NBA fantasy season on NBA.com:

New FREE Commissioner Service -- What does this mean to you? It means keeper leagues, league size from four to 30, five different draft types, three different scoring methods, customizable divisions, co-owner and co-commissioenr options, rules customizable to your league, six different waiver options including auction, and much, much more. Did we mention that it's FREE?

All FREE Content -- Twenty-one strategy articles brought to your computer every single week. Each article will be written specifically for different league types so that all of your questions are answered and all of your leagues are won!

FREE Draft Kit -- Tired of dishing out $10 - $30 on a draft kit? At NBA.com, we're here for you. Our draft kit will be just as comprehensive as it was last season, offering a strategy guide, sleepers, cheat sheets, rankings, mock draft and analysis, rookie impact, and much, much more.

MORE Stats -- During the past season, we have become the official source for NBA fantasy stats. In addition to creating a new statistical resource center with over 100 sortable splits, we also created the Fantasy Sports Performance Index (FSPI) and the Daily Top Performer, which provides a snap shot of the top five fantasy performers in each category on a daily basis. What's next? Plenty. We will be offering a Trade Tool that analyzes player value based on your team's rotisserie needs, a customizable FSPI to match your league settings, and still so much more.

This is the beginning, my friend. If you are a die hard fantasy player, NBA.com is the place for you. If you are a rookie and need a place to start, start here. Play for free, play for fun, but play to win!

Enjoy the rest of the playoff action, including the Drive to the Finals playoff fantasy game!

Best Regards,

Jon Loomer
