Sometimes having too many choices is a bad thing. Going to the buffet is nice every once in a while, but it's also reassuring to just open up a brown bag and have no other option to chow down on besides the turkey and cheese sandwich, can of Fresca and bag of Bugles that were packed for you. In the early stages of Drive to the Finals, there are too many possibilities to know if you're picking the right player or not. During the First Round, the goal is to choose a guy who racks up a PRA of 30 or higher and whose team ends up being eliminated before the Conference Semifinals. During the Conference Semifinals, the goal is to choose a guy who racks up a PRA of 30 or higher and whose team ends up being eliminated before the Conference Finals. During the Conference Finals, the goal is to choose a guy who racks up a PRA of 30 or higher and whose team ends up being eliminated before The Finals. During The Finals, you just hope you have some big-time performers left in the bank and start reeling them off. On Tuesday there are three Game 2's: Dallas at New Orleans, Phoenix at San Antonio and Toronto at Orlando. All three of the road teams trail 1-0 in their respective series already. Here's where the predicting comes in. Dallas owned New Orleans in the first half of Game 1, has a former league MVP in Dirk Nowitzki and is a veteran group that's been to The Finals -- odds are, they aren't getting swept. San Antonio needed a 3-pointer from Tim Duncan of all people to win Game 1, that series is destined to go six, if not seven, games. That leaves the Raptors, who got dominated during the bookends of Game 1 (the first and fourth quarters), who struggled at the end of the regular season to fall from the No. 4 to No. 6 seed and who got ousted from the playoffs by a lower seed last season. Smells like a sweep to me. Being the Experts that we are, our lone obligation to Torontonians is to fleece the Raps of their best player, Chris Bosh, and insert him as our Drive to the Finals pick before the boys North of the border have gone fishin'. Bosh's nightly 20, 10 and five won't win his first round series, but his numbers can help us win the Drive to the Finals.
