We have ourselves a shake-up! We went into last week having a four-team tie at 4-1 atop the NBA Cares Celebrity Fantasy League. We now have two, Tony Potts and Bill Simmons. Simmons defeated the now 4-2 Donald Faison by 1.21 points. Let's put that into perspective, people. One assist. One rebound. One turnover. One steal. One blocked shot. Any of these things would have swayed the match-up the other way. The "good" also tend to be lucky.

Although Potts and Simmons lead the way, the league's top point scorers are George Lopez and Faison, sitting at 4-2. Zach Gilford lost for the second consecutive week, as the cream continues to rise to the top (and the watered down sink to the bottom). Samuel L. Jackson pulled out a surprisingly dominant win over James Denton with both Tim Duncan and Tony Parker out of his lineup, marking his third consecutive victory and pulling him even with Bernie Mac and Will Ferrell.

Adam McKay made the following post, heading into his match-up with Will Ferrell:

To Ferrell from McKay
Come on d***head. Bring it. mckay

Can we say that? Well, I didn't -- McKay did. Thanks for censoring yourself, Adam. Not quite sure what that word was supposed to be. Dorkhead? Harsh. Anyway, Ferrell won. Way to wake a sleeping giant.

The biggest news of the week? Spike Lee wins! The waiting is over after Spike "torched" Kenny Smith 719.66 to 675.69. It wasn't pretty, but we're all happy to see Spike finally come out of the week victoriously. Ok, except for Kenny. Be ashamed of yourself, Kenny.

Oh, and I went 5-1 in my predictions last week. I am a genius. Samuel L. Jackson continues to stump me. If I'm not mistaken, that's six weeks in a row that I have incorrectly predicted Sam's results.

Predictions? Let's get to those...

Tony Potts vs. Adam McKay
Without even looking at the active players, Potts is the pick. Our man Tony is 5-1 with nearly 5,000 fantasy points. The Gilbert-less McKay is 1-5 with about 4,000. Ouch. Ah, but not so fast. As it currently stands, McKay has an amazing seven-game advantage over Potts. Let's do some math, kids. Potts averages about 93 points per player per week. McKay averages about 74. An additional seven games is the equivalent of two players. Give McKay about 150 points. Potts averages about 830 points per week, McKay about 670 -- a difference of 160 points. That's some fuzzy math, but it shows just how close this match-up could be.
Prediction: It will be close, but I'll take Potts.

Bill Simmons vs. George Lopez
This is HUGE! George Lopez has been on an absolute roll, leading the league with 5266.51 fantasy points this season. George has a one game advantage this week, and Bill has only three games from Dwyane Wade and Paul Pierce. You need an edge somewhere, Bill.
Prediction: Simmons will probably find a way to luck into a win here, but I'm taking George.

Donald Faison vs. Kenny Smith
Faison has been lurking below the surface so far, letting others take the abuse as the league leaders. Meanwhile, he's compiled the second most fantasy points and is in prime position to move up a spot with a cupcake match-up against Kenny Smith -- the new last place team due to a tie-breaker with Spike. The games are about even, which means Kenny doesn't stand a chance.
Prediction: Come on. Faison.

Zach Gilford vs. Will Ferrell
Ferrell has a two-game advantage and also has totalled 200 more fantasy points than Gilford this season. According to record, Ferrell is the underdog, but it looks to me like Gilford will make this a three-game slide.
Prediction: Chi-Town's "Finest"? Really? Ferrell wins.

Bernie Mac vs. James Denton
Bernie suffered a tough loss to the league's top team last week, Tony Potts, and is ready for revenge. Denton will make things interesting this week, considering his four-game advantage. It should also be noted that Chris Bosh is now healthy, although Andrea Bargnani's status is unknown for this week. Not that Bargnani is a big point producer, but he represents the entire four-game advantage. Bernie has only three games from Kobe and Camby, which will help keep this match-up close.
Prediction: Given the uncertainty of Denton's lineup, you have to go with the favorite here. Bernie Mac.

Samuel L. Jackson vs. Spike Lee
Big Sam coming up large again! You can't overstate the achievement of winning by nearly 200 points last week without Duncan and Tony Parker. Only George Lopez scored more points. Sam now appears to be full strength, although Duncan's status is not 100% confirmed at this point. The games played are even for these teams, so the only way that Spike will squeeze out a victory is if Duncan fails to play. And Amare gets hit by a truck driven by Chris Kaman.
Prediction: I finally get a Sam prediction right. Jackson wins.

Kenny Smith has fallen to last place.
