Seimone Augustus: Let Go by Orlando
Update: Orlando waived Augustine on Tuesday.
Analysis: Augustine compiled 1.6 points and 1.2 rebounds while logging an average of six minutes per game in 2007. He'll likely get snatched up by a team in need of frontcourt depth.
Emeka Okafor: Signs Six-Year Deal With Charlotte
Update: Charlotte signed Okafor to a six-year deal on Tuesday worth $72 million, the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: While his offensive game remains average, Okafor is one of the best defenders in the post the NBA has to offer and is still just 26 years old. He's averaged two blocks and 10.8 rebounds over his four-year career.
LeBron James: (Ankle) Practices and Will Play
Update: James (ankle) joined his Team USA teammates for its first practice session in China, the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: James, whose right ankle was heavily taped, said he expects to play in upcoming exhibition games in Macau and Shanghai after missing a game against Canada last Friday.
Emeka Okafor: Close to Deal
Update: Sources within the NBA front office said the Bobcats and Okafor are close to agreeing on a six-year contract, ESPN.com reports.
