Brent Barry: Signed by Houston
Update: The Rockets signed Barry to a two-year deal Thursday.
Analysis: He should be a veteran backup at both guard positions for the Rockets next year.
JamesOn Curry: Suspended for One Game
Update: The league suspended Curry for one game, resulting from two January misdemeanor charges, the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: Curry spent almost all of last season in the Developmental League, and did not play when called up to the Bulls. His future is not bright in an overcrowded Chicago backcourt.
Brad Miller: Suspended for Five Games
Update: Miller will sit out the first five games of the season for violating the league's drug policy, the Sacramento Bee reports.
Analysis: Miller also faces the challenge of getting back into playing shape after dealing with several injuries last season, in addition to fighting off second-year center Spencer Hawes.
Dee Brown: Signed by Washington
Update: The Wizards signed Brown to an offer sheet Thursday, the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: He played in 49 games as a reserve guard for the Jazz in 2006-07, but spent all of last season in Turkey, averaging 12.3 points a game. He should start the season as the Wizards' third point guard.
Andrea Bargnani: Headed to the Bench in '08-'09
Update: The Raptors completed the trade for Jermaine O'Neal on Wednesday, meaning that Bargnani will come off the bench next season.
Analysis: This could actually be a good thing for his fantasy numbers, as Bargnani will be able to concentrate more on his offense. He'll need to become more physical if he ever wants to be a star in the NBA, however.
