Weekly Update (April 9, 2003) -- The NBA Fan Challenge has made the final turn and we are officially in the homestretch. No need to break out the whips yet, but it very well could be a photo finish.

The Color of Money:
The Celtics fans have long been rumored to be the NBA's most knowledgable fans, and the NBA Fan Challenge has done nothing to dispute that. Maybe it's the rich history of the Celtics, or all those brainy schools around town, but the Celtics have never given up the lead. It's not over though. The Pacers and Raptors still have a chance to eek out the Eastern Conference title.

By A Nose:
Out West, the lead pack is all bunched up, and it's way too early to pick a winner. At least five teams - Clippers, Kings, Timberwolves, Grizzlies and Kings - could nab the title. It's anybody's guess at this point.

The Big Mac:
The usual suspects - KG, T-Mac, Kobe, and Kidd - were the the most popular responses to last week's question "Who should be MVP?", but when push came to shove, you the fans picked Tracy McGrady over Kobe. Why? As Isaiah in Louisville, KY says, "T-Mac is the MVP because he has no supporting cast around him and he has his team in position for the playoffs. Kobe has been outstanding but he has the big fellow to help him out."

Lord of the Rings:
Which team is going to win the NBA championship this season?

Hurry up and help your team out! Just one week left to go.
