Calendario de la Pretempordada de la NBA
NBA TV televisará el juego Memphis vs. Miami que se realizará en Puerto Rico
MIAMI, Florida (4 de Agosto, 2005) – La NBA anunció hoy el calendario de la pretemporada 2005-06 que incluye 119 partidos y en el que se destacan 32 juegos en ciudades que no tienen equipos NBA. La serie de partidos comenzará el 10 de Octubre con el duelo entre los Cleveland Cavaliers y los Washington Wizards en el MCI Center de Washington.

NBA TV trasmitirá el juego del 14 de Octubre cuando Shaquille O’Neal y los Miami Heat enfrenten a Memphis Grizzlies en el Coliseo de Puerto Rico en San Juan (Puerto Rico).
La televisión nacional de Estados Unidos tendrá dos dobletes, comenzando con el duelo divisional del Jueves 27 de Octubre a través de TNT entre Miami Heat y Orlando Magic, seguido por el juego de la División del Pacífico entre Golden State Warriors y Phoenix Suns a las 10:00 PM (Tiempo del Este en Estados Unidos). ESPN por su parte tendrá los duelos entre New York Knicks y el debut de Larry Brown cuando enfrenten a sus vecinos, los New Jersey Nets el viernes 28 de Octubre a las 7:30 PM (Tiempo del Este). Enseguida, se presentará el duelo entre Los Ángeles Lakers y Sacramento Kings a las 10:00 PM desde el Thomas & Mack Center en las Vegas.
Entre los juegos que se destacan en este calendario, está el debut de Andrew Bogut, elegido en el primer turno del NBA Draft 2005, cuando realice su debut con los Milwaukee Bucks frente a los Minnesota Timberwolves en el Target Center el 12 de Octubre. Los San Antonio Spurs, campeones reinantes de la NBA, realizarán su primer juego frente a Allen Iverson y los Philadelphia 76ers el 12 de octubre en el Colonial Center en Columbia (South Carolina).
El Maccabi Tel Aviv, uno de los equipos más poderosos en Europa y que ha ganado la liga israelí en 43 de los últimos 49 campeonatos, enfrentará a dos equipos NBA. Primero estará en el Air Center de Canadá el 16 de Octubre frente a los Toronto Raptors y el 19 de Octubre ante los Orlando Magic en el TD Waterhouse.
