Offense was remedial under axed coach Vinny Del Negro. Desperate for outside shooting.
Two stats that matter:
4.29 -- Average number of 3-point FGs by Bulls, fewest in NBA (their 13.0 attempts from the arc also ranked last).
44.54 -- League-leading rebound average. Yet Chicago had 38 games in which it got outrebounded, going 8-30 on those nights.
The Way to Go:
LeBron James is the Bulls' No. 1 target, with Chicago offering the best in-place supporting cast to plug James' superstardom. Plan B might bring a Joe Johnson, good for shooting, not good for leadership. Anything after that would be Plan F.
