Career Highlights: Grew up playing with the junior team of Germany’s RheinEnergie Cologne. Made his German Bundesliga debut with the senior team in 2006-07. Remained with the club through 2008-09, though it changed its name to Koeln 99ers in 2007. Signed with Brose Baskets Bamberg in 2009-10. Has competed for the German National Team on the junior and senior level.
2009-10: Averaging 8.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 18.9 minutes per game through his first 34 appearances in the German Bundesliga with Brose Baskets Bamberg. Had a season-high 26 points vs. Phoenix Hagen. Totaled 20 points and a season-best 13 rebounds vs. Pad.Baskets. Recorded eight points, nine rebounds and a season-high seven blocks vs. Art.Dragons. In 12 Eurocup matches, averaged 8.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 17.4 minutes per outing. Had a season-high 18 points and 12 rebounds in 25 minutes at Benetton Basket in the final game of the season, shooting 7-of-9 from the field. Totaled 15 points, five rebounds and two blocks in 22 minutes vs. BK Ventspils. Contributed 13 points on 5-of-5 shooting with two blocks vs. Lauretana Biella.
2008-09: In his third season with the Koeln 99ers, posted 5.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 12.0 minutes per game over 27 contests in the Bundesliga. Played in the 2009 European Championship for Germany, averaging 1.3 points and 1.0 rebounds. Played nine minutes vs. Greece, collecting four points, three rebounds and three fouls. Participated in the 2009 U-20 European Championship, averaging 7.7 points and 6.0 rebounds for Germany. Recorded 17 points and six rebounds in 15 minutes vs. Belgium, shooting 6-of-7 from the field. Had 11 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks vs. Croatia in 26 minutes.
2007-08: Averaged 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 6.5 minutes per game for Koeln 99ers in the Bundesliga. In the NBBL, the top league for players under 19 in Germany, averaged 23.3 points, 13.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks in 31.3 minutes per game. Shot 67.3 percent from the field. Competed for Germany in the 2008 U-20 European Championship, averaging 9.6 points and 8.8 rebounds. Collected 19 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks in 20 minutes vs. Czech Republic. Shot 7-of-8 from the field. Totaled 16 points and 15 rebounds in 21 minutes vs. Ireland.
2006-07: In his debut season in the German Bundesliga, averaged 1.7 points and 1.0 rebounds in 3.2 minutes per game for RheinEnergie Cologne. Made six appearances. Also played in two games in ULEB Cup competition, missing his only field goal attempt. Played for Germany in the 2007 U-18 European Championship, averaging 10.6 points and 9.2 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game. Posted 14 points and 16 rebounds vs. Croatia and 17 points and 14 rebounds and 12 points and 15 rebounds in two meetings with Russia.
