Career Highlights: Named to All-ACC Defensive Team as sophomore and redshirt freshman. Named to All-ACC Freshman Team as a freshman.Played and started in all 67 games during his two full seasons. Helped lead Florida State to the NCAA Tournament twice and the ACC Tournament Championship Game as a Redshirt Freshman. Averaged a school record 2.1 blocked shots per game for his career. Ranks 18th all time in school history with a .534 field-goal percentage.

  

Sophomore (2009-10): Led team in scoring (11.7 ppg), blocked shots (2.3 bpg), and free-throw percentage (.794), while ranking second in rebounds (6.2 rpg) and field-goal percentage (.534). Started all 32 of the team’s games, scoring in double figures 18 times. Scored a career-high 22 points twice, in back-to-back games against Georgia State and Auburn. Blocked a career-high seven shots against Boston College. Scored 21 points along with 10 rebounds against Ohio State.

  

Redshirt Freshman (2008-09): Led team in rebounding (5.6 rpg), shot blocking (2.1 bpg), and field-goal percentage (.540), while ranking second in scoring (8.4 ppg). Started all 35 of the team’s games, scoring in double figures 14 times. Scored a season-high 17 points to go along with nine rebounds against Clemson. Blocked a season-high six shots against Charleston Southern. Scored 16 points to go along with seven rebounds against Boston College.

  

Freshman (2007-08): Played in nine games, averaging 3.9 points and 2.2 rebounds before ending his season early with a stress fracture in his leg. Scored a season-high six points in three separate games against Stetson, Samford, and Butler.

  

Strengths: Big, long, mobile center with excellent physical tools. Excellent shot-blocking presence on the defensive end. Has a developing post game and reliable mid-range jumper. Has a very large upside.

 

Personal: Played soccer before taking up basketball at age 15. Moved to the United States in 2005.
