Originally an early entry candidate for the 2007 and 2009 NBA Drafts before withdrawing his name from consideration both years.

 

Career Highlights: Has spent his career with Serbian club FMP Zeleznik, playing for its junior team early on. A member of the Serbian National Team and has represented his country at the youth and junior national team levels as a teenager.

  

2009-10: In Adriatic League for FMP, averaged 13.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.6 steals in 26.6 minutes over 23 games. Tallied 30 points on 11-of-20 shooting and 13 rebounds vs. Bosna. Registered 28 points on 13-of-14 shooting and nine rebounds vs. Hemofarm. Notched 24 points on 7-of-10 field goals and 10-of-11 free throws along with eight rebounds at Zvezda. Netted 23 points on 7-of-10 shooting and 11 rebounds vs. Buducnost. Collected 17 points and Adriatic League season-highs in rebounds (15) and assists (3) at Buducnost.  In seven Serbian A Superliga contests, averaged 19.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 0.9 steals in 31.3 minutes. Registered 24 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steals vs. Metalac. Posted 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting, seven rebounds and five assists in 22 minutes vs. Tamis. Tallied 21 points, one rebound and four assists vs. Partizan. Recorded 19 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals vs. Borac. Played 14 games in the FIBA EuroChallenge. Averaged 13.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.5 steals in 26.7 minutes over 14 contests. Posted 26 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals vs. KK Zagreb. Notched 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting along with 10 rebounds vs. Banvit. Tallied 19 points and 16 rebounds vs. VEF Riga. Collected 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists vs. Liege.

  

2008-09: Playing for FMP Zeleznik in the Adriatic League, averaged 10.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.6 steals in 18.8 minutes over 25 games. Recorded 22 points on 11-of-15 shooting and eight rebounds at Hemofarm. Posted 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting and 11 rebounds and three assists vs. Vojvodina. Scored 17 points at Krka and Cibona. In nine Serbian A Superliga contests, averaged 8.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals. In six ULEB Cup games, averaged 4.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 9.0 minutes. Tallied 10 points and four steals in 19 minutes at Fortitudo Bologna and seven points and five rebounds in 10 minutes vs. the Artland Dragons. Played for the Serbia National Team at the 2009 European Championships and averaged 3.3 points and 0.9 rebounds.

  

2007-08: In the Adriatic League with FMP Zeleznik, averaged 2.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.6 steals in 7.5 minutes over 25 games. Scored 14 points in 16 minutes vs. Slovan. Grabbed 11 rebounds in 24 minutes vs. Olimpija. In 16 Serbian A Superliga games, averaged 3.5 points and 2.9 rebounds, shooting 61.8 percent from the field. In ULEB Cup competition, averaged 3.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.6 steals in 10.8 minutes over 10 games. Tallied 11 points and eight rebounds at Besiktas Cola Turka. Represented Serbia at the 2008 U-20 European Championship, averaging 18.6 points and 10.9 rebounds.

  

2006-07: On loan from FMP Zeleznik to KK Borac Cacak in Serbia A, averaged 5.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.8 steals over 22 contests. Competed for first-place Serbia at the 2007 FIBA U-19 World Championship, averaging 9.6 points and 5.3 rebounds.

  

2005-06: In the Serbian B Superliga with FMP Zeleznik, averaged 14.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.5 steals and 0.6 blocks over 24 appearances. Also spent time with FMP Zeleznik’s senior team. Scored 10 points in one Serbian A league contest. In two Adriatic League games, scored two points and grabbed three rebounds in 15 minutes. Appeared in one ULEB Cup match, playing one minute vs. Etosa Alicante. Represented Serbia & Montenegro at the 2006 U-18 European Championship, averaging 15.1 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists.

 

2004-05: Competing for FMP Zeleznik B in the Serbia B Superliga, averaged 4.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 24 contests. Represented Serbia & Montenegro at the 2005 U-18 European Championship, averaging 0.8 points and 1.2 rebounds.

  

2003-04: Played for FMP Zeleznik Beograd B in the Serbian B Superliga after spending the previous season playing for that club in the same league as well as for FMP’s cadet team. Represented Serbia & Montenegro at the 2004 U-16 European Championship, averaging 9.8 points and 5.2 rebounds.
