Career Highlights: Named 2010 WAC Player of the Year and Honorable Mention All-America as a sophomore. Named 2010 WAC Freshman of the Year and earned First Team All-WAC honors as a freshman.
Sophomore (2009-10): Led team in points (21.9 ppg), rebounds (8.9 rpg) and free-throw percentage (.917), while ranking second in three-point percentage (.416) and third in assists (2.1 apg). Started all 34 of the team’s games, scoring in double figures all 34 games, including 23 games with 20 or more points. Grabbed double figures rebounds in 16 games. Scored a career-high 33 points on 10-for-19 shooting to go along with eight rebounds against New Mexico State. Grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds to go along with 14 points against Houston.
Freshman (2008-09): Led team in points (16.9 ppg), rebounds (7.4 rpg), and free-throw percentage (.864), while ranking second in three-point percentage (.429). Started all 34 of the team’s games, scoring in double figures 31 times. Scored a season-high 30 points on 8-for-14 shooting against San Jose State. Grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds to go along with 22 points against Fresno State. Scored 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds against Idaho.
Strengths: Extremely skilled scorer with phenomenal shooting abilities. Has effortless range and outstanding shot-creating abilities. Smart player who contributes in multiple areas of the game.
Personal: Son of Bob and Laura Babbitt. Won the 2007 Nevada state championship in high school.
