Career Highlights: Marquette’s second all-time leading scorer (1,859 points) and fifth-best rebounder (910 boards). Played in school-record 138 games. A Second Team All-Big East and Honorable Mention AP All-American as a senior. Tallied 23 points and seven rebounds in the 2010 NABC All-Star Game, earning the Most Outstanding Player honor for his team.

  

Senior (2009-10): Averaged 18.1 points , 7.5 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. A Second Team All-Big East and AP Honorable Mention All-America selection. Finished sixth in the Big East in scoring and ninth in rebounding. Poured in a career-high 28 points, including 18 points in the second half, in win over Maryland Eastern Shore. Scored 20 points in the second half in a come-from-behind win vs. Providence, matching career highs in points (28), assists (4), steals (4) and three-point field goals (5). Posted 27 points vs. Xavier. Registered 17 of his game-high 24 points in the first half vs. West Virginia. Scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half vs. Villanova.

 

Junior (2008-09): Finished among the Big East leaders in scoring (10th, 16.3 ppg), rebounding (7th, 8.6 rpg) and free throw percentage (4th, 82.0). Netted a career-high 25 points and pulled down 10 rebounds vs. Milwaukee. Finished with 19 points on a career-high nine field goals, and grabbed a career-best 18 rebounds vs. Wisconsin. Scored a then career-high 27 points vs. Western Carolina. Recorded his ninth career double-double with a game-high 22 points, on a career-best five three-pointers, and 11 rebounds vs. Presbyterian. Dominated the glass with a game-high 17 rebounds in addition to 16 points vs. DePaul.

  

Sophomore (2007-08): Contributed 12.8 points and 6.5 rebounds in his first season full-time starter. Named All-Big East Second Team. Poured in a season-high 23 points and eight rebounds vs. USF. Also tallied 23 points to go along with nine rebounds vs. Seton Hall. Registered 21 points and 11 rebounds vs. Notre Dame.  Netted 19 points and a then career-high 11 rebounds vs. UW-Milwaukee. Tallied second career double-double with 17-point, 11-rebound effort vs. Notre Dame. Collected 14 of his 19 points in the second half vs. Cincinnati. Posted 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting vs. Duke.

  

Freshman (2006-07): Averaged 6.6 points and 3.6 rebounds, starting 16-of-34 games. Scored a season-high 18 points against Villanova. Scored 14 points against St. John’s, Detroit and Georgetown. Posted 13 points and a team-high seven rebounds against UMBC.

 

Strengths: Physical combo forward who scores in traffic or can hit the stand-still perimeter jumper. Plays bigger than his height would indicate and can operate with his back to the basket. Possesses quick hands and has springy legs. Excellent upside as a defensive-stopper.

 

Personal: Majored in social welfare and justice.
