Career Highlights: Named unanimous Big 12 Player of the Year as a junior. Named First Team All-America by Yahoo! Sports as a junior. Named Second Team All-Big 12 as a sophomore. Named to the Big 12 All-Rookie team and earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention as a freshman. Ranks fourth all-time in school history with 1,811 career points. His 17.9 career scoring average ranks second all-time in school history. Started 99 of 101 games played in his career, never missing a game.
Junior (2009-10): Led team in scoring (22.3 ppg) and steals (1.4 spg), while ranking third in rebounds (5.8 rpg), assists (2.4 apg), and free-throw percentage (.810). Started all 33 of the team’s games, scoring in double figures every single game, including 22 games with 20 or more points and five games with 30 or more points. Scored a season-high 31 points three separate times, against Missouri, Baylor, and Oklahoma. Grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds to go along with 22 points against Seattle. Scored 27 points to go along with eight rebounds against Kansas.
Sophomore (2008-09): Led team in scoring (18.2 ppg), three-point percentage (.408) and free-throw percentage (.829), while ranking third in rebounds (5.7 rpg) and steals (1.1 spg). Started all 35 of the team’s games, scoring in double figures 32 times, including 14 games with 20 or more points. Scored a career-high 37 points on 12-for-21 shooting against Oklahoma. Scored 35 points on 12-for-16 shooting against Texas. Scored 33 points to go along with nine rebounds and four steals against Rhode Island.
Freshman (2007-08): Led team in scoring (13.3 ppg) and three-point percentage (.379). Started 31 of the team’s 33 games, scoring in double figures 23 times, including six games with 20 or more points. Scored a season-high 29 points on 11-for-15 shooting in his collegiate debut against Prairie View A&M. Scored 25 points on 8-for-16 shooting against LSU. Scored 18 points to go along with eight rebounds against Texas Tech.
Strengths: Big shooting guard with outstanding scoring abilities. Has NBA three-point range and is an excellent shooter coming off screens. Efficient player who doesn’t make many mistakes.
