An early entry candidate for the 2010 NBA Draft. 

 

Career Highlights: Was named Conference’s Player of the Year as a sophomore. Selected as the Most Outstanding Player of the West Regional. Just missed half court shot at buzzer to win NCAA championship. Chosen to the All-Tournament Team at the 2010 Final Four. Finished second on the gold medal-winning U. S. U19 World Championship Team in rebounding (5.7 rpg) and third in scoring (10.0 ppg) during the summer. Named to the Best of the Best Team at the U19 World Championship in New Zealand. Named 2009-10 preseason first team All-Horizon League.

  

Sophomore (2009-10): Led the Bulldogs with 19 points and nine rebounds against Michigan State in the national semifinals. Shared the team scoring lead with 12 points and pulled down a team-high eight rebounds against Duke in the 2010 National Championship game.Topped the Horizon League in double-doubles with 12. Had 24 points, a team-high eight rebounds and two blocked shots against Georgetown in the Jimmy V Classic. Recorded seventh career double-double with a game-high 22 points and 14 rebounds against Xavier. Led the Bulldogs with 12 points and 15 rebounds at UAB. Hit a career-high 10 field goals, scored a season-high 25 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds in 27 minutes at UIC. Hit nine of 11 free throws and scored 13 points against UTEP in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Posted 12 points and a team-high seven rebounds against Murray State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Led Butler with 17 points against Syracuse in the West Regional semifinals. Posted game-highs of 22 points and nine rebounds against Kansas State in the championship game of the West Regional.        

Freshman (2008-09): Named First Team All-Horizon League. Named the Horizon League Newcomer of the year and picked to the All-Newcomer Team. Set a Butler Freshman record with seven three-point field goals against both Ohio State and UIC.. Named Horizon League Player of the Week three times. Started all 32 game for the Bulldogs. Recorded double figure scoring in 20 games. Had a game high 18 points against Valparaiso. Led the Bulldogs at Davidson with a career-high 27 points and nine rebounds in the Bracketbuster game. Had a game-high eight rebounds in the Horizon League Tournament semifinals against Wright State. Recorded 12 points, six rebounds and four assists against LSU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Finished the year averaging 13.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

  

Strengths: Extremely versatile swingman who can score, handle, pass and rebound. Deceptively athletic with good burst. Shoots with range and has excellent mechanics. Hard-nosed performer who leads by example.

 

Personal: Hit winning shot at the buzzer to win a state championship in high school as a senior. Has a twin sister who played on Butler’s tennis team.
