Originally an early entry candidate for the 2009 NBA Draft before withdrawing his name from consideration.

 

Career Highlights: Spent 2005-07 playing exclusively for Zalgiris-Sabonio mokykla Kaunas, Zalgiris Kaunas' junior team, in Lithuania's second division. Made his debut with the senior team in 2007-08, also splitting time with the junior squad. Joined Aisciai in 2008-09 and earned All-Star honors in Lithuania's top league. Moved to Italy’s Benetton Treviso in 2009-10. Has represented Lithuania in junior national team competition. A member of the World Select Team at the 2009 Nike Hoop Summit, tallying 21 points on 5-of-15 shooting and 10-of-14 from the line.  Also added eight rebounds and three assists.

 

2009-10: In his first season with Benetton Treviso in the Italian League, he’s currently averaging 10.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 20.9 minutes through his initial 29 appearances. Erupted for 32 points, 21 rebounds and six blocks vs. NSB Napoli, which was playing its youth team. Totaled 21 points, seven rebounds and two steals vs. NGC Cantu. Collected 18 points and six rebounds vs. Angelico Biella. Registered 16 points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes vs. Montepaschi. Played in 12 Eurocup contests, averaging 7.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 19.3 minutes per game. Collected 17 points (7-9 FGs) and five rebounds vs. Bilbao Basket. Totaled nine points and 11 rebounds in 17 minutes vs. Panellinios. Saw action in four Euroleague Qualifying Round contests, averaging 6.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 10.3 minutes. Posted 12 points and five rebounds in 16 minutes vs. Orleans. At the 2009 U-20 European Championship, averaged 7.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists as Lithuania finished fifth. Also competed at the 2009 FIBA U-19 World Championship, averaging 17.3 points. 8.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists.

 

2008-09: Competed for Aisciai in Lithuania’s LKL. Averaged 19.9 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocked shots in 29.5 minutes over 22 appearances in Lithuania's top league. Registered 29 points and 11 rebounds vs. Nevezis. Scored 27 points and grabbed eight rebounds vs. ┼áiauliai. Finished with 27 points vs. Kaunas Triobet. Totaled 27 points and eight rebounds vs. Siauliai. Notched 25 points and 16 rebounds vs. Techasas. Selected for the All-Star game. In the Baltic Basketball League's Challenge Cup, posted 16.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks in 28.4 minutes in 22 contests. Tallied 26 points vs. both TTU and Kaunas Triobet. At the 2008 U-20 European Championship, averaged 11.2 points and 5.4 rebounds for Lithuanian's under-20 national team. Also contributed 18.2 points and 10.2 rebounds in tournament play at the U-18 European Championship for Lithuania.

  

2007-08: In his first season with BC Zalgiris Kaunas's senior team, averaged 5.6 points and 1.1 rebounds in 10.0 minutes per game over eight contests in Baltic League play. Totaled 19 points and four rebounds in 19 minutes vs. Valmiera. Had 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting in 22 minutes vs. ASK Riga. In 21 minutes of Euroleague action over three games, tallied four points and eight rebounds. Also played in his third season for the junior team, Zalgiris-Sabonio mokykla Kaunas, in the NKL, Lithuania's second division. At the 2008 Nike International Junior Tournament, averaged 20.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.7 steals over three games for the junior team. At the 2007 U-18 European Championship, averaged 13.6 points and 6.3 rebounds for Lithuania.

  

2006-07: Competed for Zalgiris-Sabonio mokykla Kaunas in the NKL. At the 2006 U-16 European Championship, averaged 14.0 points and 8.5 rebounds for Lithuania.

2005-06: Played his first season for Zalgiris-Sabonio mokykla Kaunas in the NKL.

 

Strengths: Excellent shooter. Has range on his jumper out to three-point territory and can convert on turnarounds from the post. Good athlete. Extremely long, enabling him to shoot over the top of his opponent. Aggressive scorer.
