Career Highlights: Holds Big 12 conference records for rebounds and double-doubles and school career records for games started and rebounds. Earned Third Team AP All-American accolades as a senior in 2009-10. A Lowe's Senior CLASS Award and Oscar Robertson Trophy finalist. Selected All-Big 12 First Team. Named All-Big 12 Second Team as a junior and sophomore.

  

Senior (2009-10): Led Texas in scoring (18.0 ppg), rebounding (10.3 rpg), double-doubles (17), steals (57) and minutes played (30.3 mpg), and ranked second on the squad in blocked shots (40). A Third Team AP All-American and finalist for the Senior Class Award and Oscar Robertson Trophy. All-Big 12 First Team and NABC All-District 8 First Team.  Posted a season-high 28 points and 13 rebounds vs. Texas Tech.  Matched that mark with 28 points, 16 rebounds and three steals vs. Iowa State in the first round of the Big 12 tournament. Totaled 20 points, a career-high 19 rebounds and four steals vs. Baylor. Tallied 26 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks vs. Texas A&M. Recorded 25 points and 15 rebounds vs. UNC.  Notched 24 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks vs. Kansas, shooting 4-of-4 from three-point range. Collected 24 points and eight rebounds vs. Oklahoma. Registered 23 points and 13 rebounds vs. Michigan State. Scored 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting at UConn.Posted 21 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks vs. Texas State. Contributed 21 points and 15 rebounds vs. UC Irvine.

  

Junior (2008-09): Ranked 10th in the Big 12 in scoring (15.4 ppg) and fourth in rebounding (9.2 rpg). Named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, the Naismith Trophy Early Season Watch List and the Wooden Award Preseason Top 50 List. Led the Texas with 31 double-figure scoring games, 18 double-figure rebounding games and 16 double-doubles. Set his season-high with 28 points vs. Texas A&M. Scored 26 points at No. 9 Kansas.  Had 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting vs. Oregon, also grabbing 12 rebounds. Posted 21 points and 14 rebounds at Colorado. Matched his season-high in rebounds (18) while scoring 18 points at Oklahoma State. Totaled 18 points and 15 rebounds at Wisconsin. Tallied 18 points and nine boards vs. Minnesota in the NCAA First Round. Posted 15 points and 10 rebounds vs. No. 6 Duke in the NCAA Second Round.

 

Sophomore (2007-08): Averaged 13.2 points, 10.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks while shooting 38-of-92 (.413) from three. Selected All-Big 12 Second Team by the coaches and 2008 Big 12 Championship All-Tournament Team. Set the UT single-season rebounding record (393) and ranked second in the Big 12 and 15th nationally in rebounding average. Had 17 double-doubles. Erupted for a career-high 29 points, 14 rebounds and season-best five blocks vs. TCU, converting 3-of-5 treys. Totaled 27 points and 16 rebounds at Missouri, hitting 3-of-5 threes. Posted 23 points (9-of-13 FGs, 3-of-4 3FGs) and 11 rebounds vs. Oklahoma State. Had 16 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks vs. Miami (FL) in the NCAA Tournament Second Round. Had 19 points and 10 rebounds in an upset of No. 2 UCLA, converting the game-winning dunk with seven seconds remaining. Had 21 points and 15 rebounds vs. Wisconsin. Recorded 18 points and 17 rebounds at Rice. Posted 15 points and 16 rebounds vs. No. 9 Michigan State. Tallied 14 points and 13 rebounds vs. No. 3 Kansas with 12 points and all 13 rebounds coming in the second half. Pulled down a career-high 18 rebounds to go along with 13 points and three blocks vs. Oklahoma State. Freshman (2006-07): Started all 35 games as a Texas freshman. Ranked fifth on the team in scoring (7.6 ppg) second in rebounding (7.2 rpg) and third in blocks (42). Had four double-doubles and 10 double-figure rebounding games. Scored a season-high 22 points (7-of-10 FG, 8-of-9 FT) with nine rebounds and two blocks in a double-overtime win vs. No. 7 Texas A&M. Established season-highs in rebounds (14) and blocks (4) at Tennessee. Matched his season-high with 14 rebounds and added nine points and two blocks vs. No. 2 Kansas in the Big 12 Championship title game. Also had 12 points and seven rebounds in a previous meeting with the Jayhawks earler in the year. Notched his first collegiate double-double vs. No. 9 LSU with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Collected 10 points and 11 rebounds at No. 12 Oklahoma State. Registered 15 points (7-of-10 FGs) and nine rebounds in 24 minutes at Colorado. Scored 13 points (5-of-6 FGs) and matched his career high with four blocks in 22 minutes at No. 6 Texas A&M.

 

Strengths: Athletic forward with a blue-collar approach. Aggressive rebounder at both ends.  Can hit the three. Excellent leaper.

 

Personal: Named Academic All-Big 12 First Team as a sophomore and junior.
