Career Highlights: Named to All-Conference USA First Team as both a junior and senior. Named 2009 Conference USA Newcomer of the Year as a junior. Earned Conference USA Player of the Week honors seven times. Played his first two seasons at Southwest Mississippi Community College.
Senior (2009-10): Led entire NCAA in scoring with 25.6 points per game. Also led team in rebounding (7.4 rpg) and steals (2.7 spg), while ranking second in assists (2.6 apg). Played and started in all 35 of the team’s games, scoring in double figures every game while scoring 20 or more points 29 times and 30 or more points nine times. Scored a career-high 38 points against Tulane on 13-for-21 shooting while also contributing seven rebounds. Scored 30 or more points in three games in a row against Central Florida, Memphis, and Marshall. Recorded seven steals twice in a game, against San Diego and Tulsa.
Junior (2008-09): Led team in scoring (19.4 ppg) and steals (2.3 spg), while ranking second in rebounds (8.2 rpg) and assists (2.4 apg). Played and started in 32 of the team’s 33 games, scoring in double figures 30 times while scoring 20 or more points 16 times. Recorded 14 double-doubles, including a 28-point, 13-rebound performance against Central Florida. Scored a career-high 38 points against Marshall to go along with six rebounds and four steals. Scored 30 or more points in back to back games against Memphis and Central Florida.
Sophomore (2007-08): At Southwest Mississippi CC, scored a team-high 25 points against Hinds CC in season finale.
Freshman (2006-07): Averaged 23 points, four rebounds, five assists, and five steals. Scored a season-high 41 points against Northwestern Mississippi.
Strengths: Prolific scorer with good physical tools. Can score the ball inside and out with great shot creation skills. Contributes on defense and the boards with good hustle.
Personal: Son of Cynthia Coleman. Majored in sociology.
