An early entry candidate for the 2009 NBA Draft.
Named to Big East All-Freshman team as a freshman. Ranks 13th all-time in school history with 108 three pointers. Ranked 14th in school history with a 16.2 scoring average. Started 39 of 61 games played.
Led team in scoring (18.5 ppg), while ranking second in rebounding (5.4 rpg), second in free-throw percentage (.703), second in steals (1.4 spg), and third in assists (1.5 apg). Started 31 of 32 games, scoring in double figures 30 times, including 12 games with at least 20 points. Scored a career-high 32 points on 12-for-22 shooting against Creighton. Scored 30 points along with eight rebounds against Providence in the Big East Tournament. Grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds on two separate occasions, against Providence and Northwestern. Dished out a career-high five assists twice, in back-to-back games against Pittsburgh and Villanova.
Ranked second on team in scoring (13.6 ppg) and rebounding (4.8 rpg). Started eight of 29 games played, scoring in double figures 20 times while posting three double-doubles. Scored a season-high 28 points on 10-for-18 shooting against Notre Dame. Grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds against Ole Miss. Scored 23 points along with seven rebounds in the season finale against Pittsburgh.
Strengths: Very explosive athlete with dynamic scoring ability inside and out. A creative finisher in the lane who gets to the free throw line well. Capable of hitting tough shots from behind the three-point arc.
