Career Highlights:

VCU's all-time leader in points (1,953), assists (674), games played (130) and free throws made (503). Two-time Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year.

Senior (2008-09):

Named CAA Player of the Year and All-CAA First Team. Earned CAA Tournament MVP honors. Recorded 25 points, eight assists and two steals in CAA Championship game triumph over George Mason. Scored 21 points, dished out seven assists and grabbed six rebounds in NCAA First Round loss to UCLA. NABC All-District 10 First Team selection. Became second player to lead CAA in both scoring (22.4 ppg) and assists (6.2 apg) in the same season. Topped 30 points in six games and 20 points in 23 contests. Scored a career-high 35 points at East Carolina.

Junior (2007-08):

CAA Player of the Year and All-CAA First Team. Named to CAA All-Tournament Team. Started all 32 games for the Rams, averaging 34.8 minutes. Led squad and ranked second in CAA with 17.9 ppg. Led league and ranked 38th nationally with 5.5 apg. Shot .459 from the field and .394 from three-point range. Topped 20 points 13 times. Scored 22 points and dished out nine assists vs UAB in NIT. Scored season-high 30 points to go with seven assists at Bradley. Recorded 25 points, five assists and eight rebounds in BB&T Classic victory over Maryland. Scored 27 points vs. Miami.

Sophomore (2006-07):

All-CAA First Team. Named CAA Tournament Most Outstanding Performer after leading VCU past George Mason in CAA Tournament Championship. Scored 22 points, including game-winning 15-footer with 1.8 seconds left in NCAA First Round victory over Duke. Averaged 18 points and eight assists in two NCAA Tourney contests. Played in all 35 games with 34 starts. Led CAA with 6.4 apg. Averaged 13.9 points and 4.2 rebounds. Set VCU single-season record with 224 assists.

Freshman (2005-06):

Appeared in 29 games with four starts, including final three games of the season. Recorded 18 points and seven assists at William & Mary.

Strengths:True point guard with excellent vision, speed and quickness. Gets into the lane with ease and makes excellent shot/pass decisions. Competes at the defensive end. Solid leadership skills. Good free throw shooter.

Personal: Selected to 2007 U.S. Plan American Games team. Played 10 minutes over two games before being sidelined with a hip injury. Son of George Maynor and Barbara Johnson. Majored in interdisciplinary studies.
