College Highlights: Played one season at Alabama-Birmingham after starting collegiate career at Mississippi State. Sat out the 2006-07 season at Alabama-Birmingham under NCAA transfer rules.

Junior (2007-08): Averaged 14.2 points and 6.8 rebounds, appearing in 12 games before being declared academically ineligible for the spring semester. Scored in double figures eight times and topped the 20-point mark in three contests. Posted career highs of 26 points and 17 rebounds vs. Rhode Island. Tallied 23 points, nine rebounds, and a season-high three blocked shots at Louisiana-Lafayette. Recorded 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists vs. Cincinnati on his way to Conference USA co-Player of the Week honors. Scored 20 points vs. Georgia Southern. Registered 16 points vs. Kentucky in his last appearance of the season.
