Career Highlights: Earned First Team All-Big 12 Conference honors as a sophomore. Named Third Team All-Conference as a senior and earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors as a junior. Finished collegiate career as Colorado’s all-time leading scorer with 2,001 points, which is also the fourth highest in Big 12 history. Also ranks as Colorado’s all-time leader in games started (116), tied for second in three-point field goals made (214), fifth in steals (176) and eighth in blocked shots (92). Is only the third player in school history to lead the team in scoring all four years.
Senior (2007-08): Ranked third in the Big 12 in scoring (17.0 ppg) and eighth in rebounding (6.7 rpg). Scored 20 or more points 10 times. Recorded six double-doubles. Registered 27 points and a season-high 14 rebounds vs. New Orleans. Tallied 13 points and a season-high-matching 14 rebounds vs. Missouri. Scored 22 points in back-to-back games vs. Kansas and at Oklahoma State. Notched 18 points at Texas. Scored 20 points at Wisconsin. Posted season-high 32 points and grabbed 12 rebounds vs. Baylor in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament. Recorded 18 points and 10 rebounds in the second round vs. Oklahoma.
Junior (2006-07): Ranked seventh in the Big 12 in scoring (17.3 ppg). Scored 20 or more points 12 times and topped the 30-point mark three times. Posted a season-high 32 points vs. Pepperdine. Sank five threes in scoring 30 points vs. Texas. Recording 30 points at Kansas. Registered a double-double of 21 points and a season-high 10 rebounds vs. Northern Colorado. Tallied 26 points and six rebounds vs. Kansas State. Notched 17 points vs. Texas Tech in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament.
Sophomore (2005-06): Led the team in scoring (17.0 ppg), rebounding (5.5 rpg) and steals (2.1 spg). Scored 20 or more points eight times. Posted a career-high 33 points, including 6-for-11 shooting from three-point range, at Missouri. Sank six threes on his way to 30 points vs. Nebraska. Recorded a double-double of 17 points and a career-high 15 rebounds vs. Texas Tech. Registered 27 points, seven rebounds and a career-high six steals at Oklahoma State. Scored 29 points and grabbed seven rebounds vs. St. Mary’s (CA).
Freshman (2004-05): Ranked 10th in the Big 12 in scoring (16.0 ppg). Season total of 480 points was the most ever scored by a Colorado freshman. Scored 20 or more points eight times. Sank seven three-point field goals twice, in a season-high 30 point performance vs. Kansas State and in a 29-point game at Texas Tech. Recorded a 16-point, season-high 13-rebound double-double vs. Northwestern. Tallied 17 points and 10 rebounds in a Big 12 Tournament win over Texas. Named to the Big 12 All-Freshman team.
Strengths: Good size and length for a two-guard. Moves well without the ball. Likes to flash out to the wing or float to the top of the key to either catch and shoot or create his own shot. Good rebounder from the guard position. Plays with confidence.
Personal: Majored in sociology. Half-brother, Kenyon Martin, is member of the Denver Nuggets. Enjoys playing video games in his spare time.
