Originally an early entry candidate for the 2007 NBA Draft before withdrawing his name from consideration.
Career Highlights: Grew up with CSKA Moscow in his native Russia, but has played with a number of other teams during his professional career. Made his Russian A SuperLeague debut with CSK VVS-Samara in 2004-05, playing on loan with the club through the 2006-07 season. Moved on to BC Khimky Moscow for the 2007-08 season. A member of the Russian National Team. Averaged 1.8 points and 1.2 rebounds at the 2007 European Championships in held in Spain. Averaged 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in two games at the 2006 U-20 European Championships held in Izmir, Turkey. Averaged 11.0 points and 5.5 rebounds at the 2005 U-20 European Championships held in Moscow.
2007-08: With BC Khimky, averaging 5.3 points and 1.9 rebounds in 11.9 minutes a contest through 40 games in Russian A Superleague regular season and playoff play. Averaged 4.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in 11.8 minutes a contest in ULEB Cup play.
2006-07: With CSK VVS Samara, averaged 16.0 points and 5.4 rebounds in Russian A Superleague regular season and playoff play. Averaged 22.5 points and 7.3 rebounds in the EuroCup Challenge. Led the event in field goal percentage.
2005-06: With CSK VVS Samara, averaged 12.7 points and 5.8 rebounds in Russian A Superleague regular season and playoff play. Also appeared in 13 games with CSKA Moscow, averaging 4.0 points and 2.1 rebounds. Contributed 3.0 points and 1.5 rebounds with CSKA Moscow in two Euroleague games. Also played for CSK VVS Samara in the Russian B Superleague, averaging 18.0 points and 5.2 rebounds in 11 games.
2004-05: With CSK VVS Samara, averaged 13.3 points and 6.3 rebounds. Also played for CSK VVS Samara in the Russian B Superleague, averaging 15.8 points and 7.9 rebounds.
Strengths: All-around power forward with solid footwork in the post and face-up skills. Plays hard on defense and isn’t afraid of getting physical on the glass. Left-handed.
