Career Highlights: Named Philadelphia Big 5 Most Outstanding Player as a senior. Only Temple player to rank among all-time top 20 scorers and rebounders and top 10 assists and steals leaders. Named the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament’s Most Inspirational Player.

Senior (2007-08): Temple’s co-captain. Team MVP. A Second Team All-Atlantic 10 selection. Led team in rebounding, assists, steals and A-10 in minutes played (37.4 mpg.). Ranked second on team in scoring. Made 28 consecutive free throws (second longest streak in TU history). Scored in double figures 28 times, including 11 20-point games. Had three double-doubles. Tallied 22 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in win over Xavier. Scored season-high 26 points and added 10 rebounds in a win over Ohio. Hit game-winning shots against Eastern Michigan and Saint Joseph’s.

Junior (2006-07): Honorable Mention All-Atlantic 10. First Team All-Philadelphia Big 5. Second on team and A-10 in scoring (19.4 ppg). Second on team in minutes (34.2 mpg) and rebounds per game (6.7). Fourth on team in assists (68) and tied for third in steals (37). Led team in scoring nine times and rebounding 10 times. Career-high and A-10 best 37 points in win over Charlotte. Scored 1,000th point and had career-high 16 rebounds vs. St. Bonaventure. Tallied 33 points with five steals at George Washington.

Sophomore (2005-06): One of three Owls to start all 32 games. Led team in rebounding (5.1 rpg). Placed second on team in assists (87), steals (73) and minutes (36.4 mpg) while ranking third in scoring (10.9 ppg). Finished third in A-10 in steals per game (2.28 spg). Tallied double figure points 17 times with season-high 26 at St. Bonaventure, also added five steals. Scored game-high 23 points at St. Louis and in season-finale against Akron. Had a perfect night from the floor, hitting all seven shots for 17 points in win over Richmond.

Freshman (2004-05): Named to Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team. Played in all 30 games, starting 29. Ranked second on team in scoring (12.4 ppg), rebounding (5.5 rpg), assists (77), steals (37), free throw percentage (.726) and minutes per game (34.6 mpg). Topped team in free throws (119) and free throw attempts (164). Scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds vs. Saint Bonaventure. Followed that with 21-point, five-rebound effort at Xavier. Scored in double figures 21 times. Posted one double-double (20 points, 13 rebounds) on season in A-10 semifinal loss to George Washington. Scored team-high 19 points in collegiate debut versus Auburn, most by a Temple newcomer since 1990.

Strengths: A strong physical presence, Tyndale impacts the game on the defensive end and with his rebounding prowess. A good passer who can also get to the rim.

Personal: A First Team All-State selection as a senior after leading Simon Gratz H.S. to the Philadelphia Public League Championship.
