Senior (2007-08): Named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. Started all 33 games. Scored a career high 23 points against North Texas. Grabbed a career high 13 rebounds at Texas. Set a personal best for steals with seven in a contest against Texas-Arlington. Led Oklahoma State in minutes played. Collected double-doubles against Missouri (15 points, 10 rebounds) and Oklahoma (13 points, 10 rebounds).
Junior (2006-07): Shared Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year Honors with Kansas’ Mario Chalmers. Named to the CollegeInsider.com All-America Defensive Team. Twice collected 12-rebounds, against Pittsburgh and against Texas. Scored a season high 13 points on five-of-six shooting from the field against Southwestern State.
Sophomore (2005-06): A constant in the Cowboys lineup as a sophomore and a partial starter. Tallied a season high 14 points against Mercer. Pulled down seven rebounds against Jackson State. Shot .651 from the field and .757 from the foul line.
Freshman (2004-05): Saw limited duty, playing over 10 minutes just four times. Scored a season high seven points on three-of-four shooting from the field against Northwestern Oklahoma State.
Strengths: An extremely capable and versatile defender who can guard a variety of positions. A solid rebounder.
Personal: The son of Lawrence and Yolanda Dove. Earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management with a marketing minor in May of 2008 from Oklahoma State.
