College Highlights: Named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year as a junior. Also earned First Team All-Conference and All-Newcomer Team honors. Named Honorable Mention All-American by The Associated Press and was one of 15 selections to the CollegeInsider.com All-American Team. Recorded 11 double-doubles, including a triple-double and the first recorded quadruple-double in NCAA Division I history, a 25-point, 12-rebound, 10-assist, 10-steal performance vs. Central Baptist. Set an OVC record for three-point field goals made in a season (124). Played first two seasons at Southwest Tennessee Community College in Memphis, Tenn. Sat out the 2006-07 season at Tennessee-Martin while establishing academic eligibility.
Junior (2007-08): Led the OVC and ranked fifth in the nation in scoring (25.7 ppg). Also led the league in steals (2.9 spg, ranked fourth nationally) and three-point field goals made per game (3.8, 10th), finished fifth in rebounding (7.8 rpg), sixth in assists (4.5 apg), second in free throw percentage (.834), and 13th in three-point field goal percentage (.388). Scored 30 or more points 12 times. Exploded for career-high 38 points and added nine rebounds and six assists vs. Tennessee State. Tallied 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists vs. SE Missouri State. Registered 35 points and 10 rebounds at Memphis in the season opener. Recorded 36 points, nine rebounds and six assists at Vanderbilt. Posted a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds at Mississippi State. Scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds at UNLV. Sank eight three-pointers on his way to 36 points at Morehead State. Notched 31 points and eight rebounds at Austin Peay in the semifinals of the OVC Tournament.
Sophomore (2005-06): At SW Tennessee, averaged 17.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.4 steals. Helped lead team to a 24-5 record, a Region VII title, and an appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament. Earned First Team All-TJCCAA honors and was runner-up for conference Player of the Year. Named Most Valuable Player of the Region VII Tournament after scoring 22 points vs. Columbia State in the championship game. Ranks ninth all-time in school history in steals (131) and three-point field goals made (92).
Freshman (2004-05): Averaged 13.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals. Ranked second on the team in scoring, rebounding, and assists and led the team in steals and field goal percentage. Posted season-high 27 points vs. Volunteer State in the Region VII title game. Helped team to a 22-6 overall record. Earned All-TJCCAA Western Division honors and was named to the All-Region VII Tournament Team.
Strengths: Explosive, all-around scorer who can put points on the board in a hurry, especially from three-point range. Uses long arms and strength to play bigger than his listed height. Can switch over to the point guard slot and run an offense.
