Career Highlights: Currently ranks third all-time in North Carolina history in career free throw percentage (.843) and 10th in blocked shots (104). Is the only player in school history to record 100 or more blocked shots and make 100 or more three-point field goals. Has scored in double figures 37 times.
Junior (2007-08): Averaged 11.5 points and 4.9 rebounds in 22.3 minutes a contest as the team’s sixth man. Scored a career-high 20 points on two separate occasions, at Kentucky and vs. Valparaiso. Registered 13 points, a career-high 14 rebounds, a season-high six assists and four blocked shots vs. North Carolina State. Sank four threes in a 19-point performance at Florida State. Posted 15 points and nine rebounds vs. Wake Forest. Recorded 14 points and matched a career-high with seven assists vs. UNC Asheville. Tallied 18 points on 8-for-14 shooting, eight rebounds, and a career-high seven blocked shots at Duke in the regular season finale. Contributed 15 points, five rebounds and three steals vs. Washington State in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament. Scored 15 points vs. Kansas in the Final Four.
Sophomore (2006-07): Averaged 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 13.6 minutes a contest. Scored in double figures four times. Recorded 14 points and six rebounds at St. Louis. Posted season highs of eight rebounds and seven assists vs. Dayton. Hit three three-point field goals in scoring 12 points at Wake Forest. Contributed eight points, eight rebounds and four assists vs. USC in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament.
Freshman (2005-06): Averaged 7.5 points and 3.7 rebounds in 15.3 minutes a contest. Scored in double figures nine times. Registered season-high 17 points in his collegiate debut vs. Gardner-Webb. Recorded first career double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds and added a season-high four assists vs. UNC Asheville. Scored 16 points vs. Boston College. Tallied 15 points vs. Murray State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Strengths: Versatile wing performer with a nice feel for the game. Rebounds and blocks shots extremely well for a perimeter player. Shoots with range. Gets after it defensively.
Personal: Has three siblings. Younger brother Rashad just completed his freshman season at Manhattan. Is second cousins with Gerald Green, formerly in the NBA with the Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets. Also played quarterback on the football team in high school.
