  • Analysis:

The Charlotte Bobcats fell well short of a postseason appearance, finishing 12th in the Eastern Conference. In the regular season, the Bobcats shining moment came when they upset the Boston Celtics with a 95-83 victory. Jason Richardson, who was acquired last summer, scored a game-high 34 points. On the season Richardson averaged 21.8 points and led the league in three-pointers made, knocking down 243 treys. Despite owning a solid leader, injuries plagued the Bobcats. Sean May and Adam Morrison were out for the entire season and Gerald Wallace started just 59 games.

    From The Media:

"The Bobcats aren’t capped out this off-season, but they certainly don’t have the flexibility they once did to absorb a huge contract. That will limit the ways they could turn the ninth pick into a veteran rotation player."
    -- Rick Bonnell, Charlotte Observer
