Increased his scoring by 12.0 ppg from sophomore to junior season, the highest scoring increase in the ACC during that time frame and the second-highest increase in Tar Heel history. Led UNC and was seventh in the ACC in free throw percentage (.800). Finished second on the team in scoring (14.3 ppg), three-pointers made (45) and blocked shots (27). Scored in double figures 24 times. Recorded 20-plus points in back-to back games with 24 at Wake Forest and 20 at NC State.
Sophomore (2004-05): Played in 32 of 37 games and shot 54.2 percent from the floor. Averaged 30 minutes and was solid contributor off the bench in last four games of the regular season, when Rashad McCants was out due to illness. Played in four NCAA Tournament games, including both Final Four contests.
Freshman (2003-04): Played in 25 games as a freshman. Had 14 points and seven rebounds in a season-high 16 minutes vs. Coastal Carolina.
Strengths: A physical wing player who is very active on both ends of the floor. Hits the boards in traffic and positions well. Good outside shooter. Solid defender with good overall court awareness.
