Senior (2006-07): Entered his senior season as the nation’s top returning rebounder. Averaged 13.1 rpg as a senior which was tops in the country. Tallied 18 double-doubles, 24 double-digit rebounding efforts and three games with 20-plus rebounds. Totaled 25 points and 20 rebounds against Texas State. Accounted for 18 points and 22 boards against Florida Atlantic.

Junior (2005-06): Lived up to the hype after being tabbed preseason Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year by CBSSportsline.com. A Third Team All-Sun Belt selection. His 11.3 rpg ranked third nationally (Paul Millsap, Kenny Adeleke). Enjoyed a 23-point, 30-rebound game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Reached double-figures in points 22 times and in rebounding 15 times, posting four-straight double-doubles from Dec. 10 – 22.

Junior College (2003-04, 2004-05): At Chattanooga State, earned NJCAA Division-I Third-Team All-American honors after ranking second nationally in rebounds per game with an average of 14.0 Led the Tigers to a 21-6 record and second place finish in the East Division after going 12-4 in league play. Earned the TJCAA and Eastern Division Most-Valuable-Player awards, as well as a spots on the All-TJCAA Team and the All-Eastern Division squad. Put together back-to-back 20-20 double-doubles in his final year at Chattanooga, posting a 25-point, 21-rebound effort against Southwest Tennessee Community College and then following that up with a 21-point, 23-rebound showing against Dyersburg State Community College. Earned All-Conference honors in both of his seasons at Chattanooga State.

Strengths: A relentless performer on both the offensive and defensive glass. Has a true knack for rebounding the basketball. Plays with great energy.

Personal: Son of Valentina Jones. Has four sisters. Majored in health science.
