Originally an early entry candidate for the 2004 and 2005 NBA Drafts before withdrawing his name from consideration each time.
Career Notes: First drew attention to himself when he helped KK Mladost from the small city of Nova Pazova reach the Division II play of the YUBA league, which had been team's best result ever (it later withdrew from the league due to financial reasons). He was then picked up by Red Star Belgrade, where played through 2003-04. Signed with Partizan Belgrade for 2004-05. Played in the 2004 Nike Hoop Summit game.
2006-07: Averaged 7.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in 15.8 minutes for Partizan in the Adriatic League. Averaged 5.8 points and 3.1 rebounds in 14.4 minutes in the Euroleague.
2005-06: Averaged 10.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in 23.9 minutes for Partizan in the Adriatic League. Averaged 6.9 points and 3.7 rebounds in 20.8 minutes in 14 Euroleague contests. In YUBA League action, averaged 7.9 points and 4.0 rebounds in 14 games.
2004-05: Averaged 9.3 points and 4.0 rebounds in 25.1 minutes for Partizan in the Adriatic League and 7.7 points and 3.5 rebounds in 20.7 minutes in the Euroleague. In seven YUBA League contests, averaged 8.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 22.1 minutes.
2003-04: In Adriatic League play, averaged 10.0 points and 4.7 rebounds as Red Star posted an 18-8 record. Also helped Red Star capture the title in the National Cup of Serbia & Montenegro. In ULEB Cup action, contributed 8.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game as his team finished with a 5-5 record in the international competition. Participated in the Hoop Summit game, an international exhibition match that pitted the top young players of the United States. Led the International Select team with 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting, converting 3-of-5 three-pointers and 7-of-8 free throws.
