Career Highlights: Played in a school record 132 games, making 123 starts. A member of Xavier’s 2004 NCAA Elite Eight team. Led team in rebounding for three consecutive seasons, as did fellow Xavier alums David West, James Posey, Brian Grant and Tyrone Hill.
Senior (2006-07): An All-Atlantic 10 First Team selection after averaging 15.6 points on 52.5 percent shooting in conference games, including a 43.1 percent mark from distance. His 13.7 ppg overall led the team, as did his 5.5 rpg and his 1.15 bpg. Netted a career-high 29 points against Rhode Island.
Junior (2005-06): Tallied career-highs for blocks (51), steals (51), assists (81) and rebounds (215).
Averaged 11.0 points and 6.7 rebounds. Posted three double-doubles, including a 19-point, 12-rebound effort against Rhode Island in which he also tallied five assists.
Sophomore (2004-05): Buried a career-high 51 three-pointers, including five in one game against Marshall. Enjoyed a 16-point, 10-rebound, four-assist and two-steal night against UMass. Dished out a career best seven assists vs. Miami (FL).
Freshman (2003-04): A member of Xavier’s Elite Eight squad which lost to Duke in the Regional Finals. Averaged 7.3 points and 3.6 rebounds in 37 games. Logged a .425 shooting percentage from three-point range, making 45 triples.
Strengths: A strong wing/forward that can rebound and block shots, and also step back and hit the three. A good passer whose greatest strength is his ability to score inside and out.
Personal: A communication arts/advertising major with a business minor. Was married in 2006 to Meredith Frendt, a former Xavier women’s soccer player. Father, Dan, was a basketball standout at Northern Kentucky.
