Career Highlights: Named to The Associated Press All-America Third Team in 2006-07. As a junior, helped lead Georgetown to its first Final Four appearance since 1985. Ranks 17th in scoring, 16th in rebounding and 12th in assists on Georgetown’s all-time lists.
Junior (2006-07): Named Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA East Regional to top off Big East Player of the Year and Big East Tournament MOP honors. Serving as Hoyas’ Co-Captain, Green led Georgetown in scoring (14.3 ppg) and was second in both rebounding (6.4 rpg) and assists (3.2 apg). Posted single-game bests in points (30 vs. Notre Dame) and blocks (eight vs. Villanova), while matching his single-game highs for rebounds (12 vs. Boston College) and assists (seven vs. Pittsburgh).
Sophomore (2005-06): Led team in scoring (11.9 ppg) and assists (3.3 apg), while ranking second in rebounding (6.5 rpg). Earned Second Team All-Big East honors. Posted a 21-point, 10-rebound effort against West Virginia. Notched 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists in an
NCAA Tournament win over Ohio State.
Freshman (2004-05): Named Big East Co-Rookie of the Year. Basketball Times’ National Freshman of the Year. Led Georgetown in rebounding (6.6 rpg) and ranked second in scoring (13.1 ppg). Garnered Big East Rookie of the Week honors five times. Shot 50.2 percent from the field and recorded five double-doubles. Started all 32 games, averaging 33.8 minutes per contest.
Strengths: Unselfish player who looks to setup his teammates as much as he does his own offense. A strong inside presence both offensively and defensively, can step back and knock down the three as easily as he can clear the glass.
