Career Highlights: Earned Third Team All-Big 12 honors as a junior. Also named Second Team All-District 12 by the NABC. Currently ranks as Oklahoma State’s 13th all-time leading scorer with 1,363 career points. Also ranks third all-time in three-point field goals made (197), ninth in three-point field goal percentage (.404) and ninth in assists (356). Originally signed a letter-of-intent with North Carolina out of high school before being released from his commitment and moving on to Oklahoma State.
Junior (2006-07): Ranked second on the team in scoring (17.3 ppg, sixth in the Big 12) and led the team in assists (3.7 apg, eighth). Also ranked fifth in the league in free throw percentage (.793) and three-point field goal percentage (.411). Recorded four 30-point games, including a career-high 40-point explosion at Baylor. Shot 12-for-18 from the field, sinking a career-high seven threes vs. the Bears. Tallied 28 points and a season-high nine rebounds vs. Texas. Posted 35 points and a season-high nine assists vs. Texas A&M-Corpus Christ. Scored 20 points at Texas A&M. Registered 20 points vs. Pittsburgh. Notched 22 points and eight assists vs. Kansas State. Led team with 24 points vs. Texas in the Big 12 Tournament finals.
Sophomore (2005-06): Ranked second on the team in scoring (13.5 ppg, ranked 15th in the Big 12) and led the team in assists (4.0 apg, seventh). Posted four 20-point games. Sank 6-for-8 from beyond three-point range in registering a season-high 30 points vs. Mercer. Tallied 22 points and a season-high nine rebounds vs. Texas. Recorded a double-double of 16 points and 10 assists vs. Detroit. Matched season-high with 10 assists vs. Gonzaga. Notched 22 points and six assists vs. Nebraska. Scored 17 points vs. Kansas in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament.
Freshman (2004-05): Averaged 9.4 points and 2.8 assists in 24.7 minutes a contest. Scored in double figures 16 times, including the last seven games of the year. Registered a season-high 22 points on 8-for-11 shooting, 6-for-8 from three-point range, in his first career start vs. Colorado. Matched season high with 22 points vs. Oklahoma. Scored 12 points and dished out a season-high seven assists versus zero turnovers vs. Kansas in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament. Recorded 18 points vs. Southern Illinois in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Tallied a season-high-tying seven assists vs. Arizona in the Sweet Sixteen.
Strengths: Can play both guard spots. Likes to penetrate and pull up for mid-range jumpshots. Solid stroke from the perimeter. Will look to create shots for his teammates.
