Senior (2006-07): Ranked seventh among Division I players in average blocked shots (3.4 bpg). His 112 blocks were the most ever by a Syracuse senior. Had six rejections against San Diego State, tying the SU NIT record. Scored a career-best 18 points vs. St. Bonaventure. Posted double-doubles with 14 points and 13 boards against Drexel, 14 points and 10 rebounds at Marquette, and 11 points and 13 rebounds at Providence. Tied his career-best with eight blocks against Cincinnati. Tied a career-high with five steals vs. St. Francis (N.Y.). Recorded nine points, 13 rebounds and seven blocked shots against Wichita State.
Junior (2005-06): Ranked 16th in Division I for average blocked shots (2.8 bpg). Averaged 11.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in Syracuse’s four-game run to the Big East Tournament championship. Grabbed at least one rebound in every game. Set a career-high with eight blocks against Cornell. Recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds in win against Manhattan. Grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds to go with 10 points at Notre Dame. Tallied 12 points and nine rebounds at Connecticut, and 11 points with 14 boards at St. John’s.
Sophomore (2004-05): Miissed several games with a thumb injury that required surgery. Averaged 26.0 minutes, 3.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in three Big East Tournament games. Recorded a season-best 14 points and 13 rebounds in win over Drexel. Had 12-point outings against Northern Colorado and St. Bonaventure.
Freshman (2003-04): Recorded five points and four rebounds against Binghamton, followed by six points, six rebounds and two blocks against Colgate. Scored a season-high eight points vs. UNC-Asheville. Blocked four shots in a game on three different occasions, against UNC-Asheville, Pittsburgh and Connecticut.
Strengths: A shotblocker and defensive presence. Athletic, with good size and a strong build. Will rebound at both ends.
Personal: Son of Darryl Sr. and Tina Watkins. Has a brother, Marcus Williams, and a sister, Tamara Watkins. Majored in speech communications.
