Career Highlights: A finalist for the Bob Cousy Award, awarded to the nation’s top point guard, as a senior. Also earned All-District honors from the NABC and USBWA. Named First Team All-Big West his junior and senior seasons. Earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors as a sophomore. Finished collegiate career as the all-time leading scorer in Cal State Fullerton history with 1,961 career points, which also ranks ninth all-time in Big West Conference history. Is also the career leader in three-point field goals made with 307 made and ranks third in assists with 516.
Senior (2006-07): Ranked second in the Big West Conference in scoring (20.2 ppg), while leading the league in assists (5.1 apg) and three-point field goals made per game (2.96). Scored 20 or more points 14 times. Exploded for a career-high and school record 47 points against Bethune-Cookman, shooting 17-for-20 from the field and hitting 11-for-13 from three-point range. Total of 11 made three-pointers set a school record and tied the all-time Big West Conference mark. Sank six three-point field goals in scoring 36 points vs. Long Beach State. Scored 18 points at UCLA. Registered two double-doubles, including a 14-point, 10 assist game vs. UC Riverside. Tallied 30 points and five assists in the first round of the Big West Tournament vs. Pacific.
Junior (2005-06): Ranked second in the Big West in scoring (17.6 ppg) , assists (4.6 apg) and steals (1.6 spg). Scored 20 or more points 11 times. Registered season-high 30 points vs. Texas-San Antonio. Tallied 25 points and season-high nine assists vs. Eastern Washington. Sank six threes on his way to 28 points vs. Cal Poly. Tallied 25 points and seven assists in a late-season win over UC Santa Barbara.
Sophomore (2004-05): Ranked third in the Big West in scoring (16.8 ppg), assists (4.7 apg) and free throw percentage (.827). Season total of 85 made three-pointers ranks second all-time in school history. Scored a season-high 30 points at Eastern Washington. Tallied a career-high with 13 assists vs. Hope International. Shot 7-for-11 from three-point range in scoring 27 points at San Diego State.
Freshman (2003-04): Averaged 13.2 points (10th in the Big West) and 3.5 assists (fourth). Scored 20 or more points four times, with a season-high 27 points in an overtime loss at USC. Hit six threes on his way to 24 points vs. UC Irvine. Shot 7-for-12 from three-point range in scoring 22 points vs. UC Santa Barbara. Tallied 19 points and a season-high seven assists vs. Eastern Washington. Named Big West Freshman of the Year.
Strengths: Confident, athletic and versatile point guard, who plays with great energy. Shoots a good percentage from behind the arc, and isn’t afraid to take big shots.
Personal: Majored in communications. Nickname is “L.B.” which is derived from “Little Bobby”.
