Analysis:
Sans superstar Gilbert Arenas, the Wizards were swept by the Cavs in the First Round of the playoffs. Throughout the regular season, many teams around the league feared Washington's offense, and for good reason. Gilbert Arenas averaged 28.4 ppg, Antawn Jamison contributed 19.8 ppg and Caron Butler generated 19.1 ppg. Washington's defense was not as strong but their biggest handicap came when injuries sidelined Arenas and Butler. Following Arenas' injury. the team went 2-10, proving that Agent Zero's presence is invaluable.

From The Media:
"Coming off three straight trips to the playoffs and with Jamison and all-stars Gilbert Arenas and Caron Butler under contract through next season, Grunfeld might not alter the roster's core this summer. However, the team does have eight free agents, including starting shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson, veteran guard-forward Jarvis Hayes and promising second-year forward Andray Blatche, who is a restricted free agent (the Wizards can match any offer made to him by another team)."
