Allen Iverson is a name that has been synonymous with the Sixers organization since the 1996-1997 season. But on the Dec. 19. 2006, the Answer traded in his black Sixers' jersey for Denver's baby blue. Just a month after AI's December departure, Chris Webber headed back to his hometown of Detroit. The Sixers were struggling prior to the blockbuster trade, but they showed promise down the stretch, winning 17 of their last 26 games as Andre Iguodala blossomed as the team's new leader.

From The Media:
"King said it was reasonable to expect the No. 12 pick to be a contributor - and possibly more - as a rookie. 'The 12th pick is where we want to have impact,' he said. 'At 21, if you can get a player who can give you 10 minutes a night, it would be better.'"
