Career total of 210 blocked shots ranks eighth all-time in Sun Belt history. Started college as a walk-on freshman at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, before transferring to Denver. Sat out the 2002-03 season under NCAA transfer rules.
Senior (2005-06): Led the Sun Belt in scoring (19.9 ppg), and ranked second in blocks (2.84 bpg), third in rebounding (10.9 rpg), and fourth in field goal percentage (.603). Posted 15 double-doubles. Scored season-high 33 points at Northern Colorado. Registered 20 points and a career-high 20 rebounds vs. Troy. Posted 28 points, 17 rebounds, and seven blocks at Western Kentucky. Set season-high with eight blocks vs. Illinois-Chicago. Tallied 30 points and 15 rebounds vs. North Texas. Registered 22 points and 17 rebounds vs. Colorado State. Named Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
Junior (2004-05): Ranked second in the Sun Belt in scoring (18.1 ppg) and rebounding (8.4 rpg), while leading the league and ranking third nationally in blocked shots (2.97 bpg). Season total of 92 blocks ranks as the second-best single season total in school history. Scored 20 or more points 13 times, including a career-high 34 point effort vs. New Mexico State. Tallied 30 points and 15 rebounds in the rematch. Registered 26 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks vs. Arkansas State. Scored 27 points and grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds at Kansas State. Set a school single-game record with a career-high nine blocks vs. New Orleans.
Sophomore (2003-04): Averaged 7.5 points and 4.3 rebounds in 12.5 minutes a contest. Led team in blocked shots (30) and field goal percentage (.506). Scored season-high 21 points at New Orleans. Posted first career double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds vs. North Texas.
Freshman (2001-02): At Fort Lewis, appeared in one game and did not score in three minutes played.
Strengths: Big man with soft hands, good agility and decent shooting touch. Shows good timing for shot blocking and gets good position for rebounding.
Personal: Majored in communications. Spends spare time playing musical instruments.
