Career Highlights: Named Third Team All-Big 12 by The Associated Press and the league coaches as a junior. Also earned First Team All-District honors from the USBWA. Currently ranks 22nd all-time in Iowa State history in scoring (1,078 points), sixth in assists (464), tied for sixth in steals (177), and eighth in three-point field goals made (100).
Junior (2005-06): Averaged 15.4 points and 6.1 assists (ranking second in the Big 12, 10th nationally). Scored 20 or more points nine times, and recorded three games of double-figure assists. Registered first career double-double with 13 points and a season-high 11 assists in the season opener vs. Mountain State. Scored career-high 24 points vs. Kansas State. Tallied 22 points, seven rebounds and five steals at Oklahoma. Registered 16 points and 10 rebounds vs. South Florida. Led team with 20 points vs. Missouri. Named MVP of the Rainbow Classic after averaging 19.0 points and 7.3 assists in three games.
Sophomore (2004-05): Averaged 12.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.0 steals. Led team and ranked fourth in the Big 12 in assists. Posted season-high 20 points while dishing out seven assists at Colorado. Sank three three-point goals on his way to 17 points vs. Kansas. Scored 15 points and had a season-high nine assists at Texas. Led team with 19 points vs. Missouri.
Freshman (2003-04): Averaged 7.5 points and 4.1 assists. Started 22 times. Scored in double figures 10 times, with a season-high 23 points at Drake. Registered 22 points vs. Texas A&M and dished out a season-high 11 assists vs. Kansas on his way to Sporting News National Player of the Week honors (Feb 2.). Scored 14 points at Colorado.
Strengths: Athletic point guard, with good court vision and the willingness to make plays for others. Good length and leaping ability for his size.
Personal: Majoring in sociology. Sister, Marsha, was a point guard at Massachusetts-Lowell.
